Carved Bell
Beautiful decorative carved bells from Mt. Washington Pottery. Available in small medium and large. Can be hung as a wall decoration or in a window. Ceramic bells are strung on a waxed hemp cord together with handmade clay beads. The handmade process renders each bell as one of a kind and unique, no two pieces are alike. Appropriate for indoor and covered outdoor use.
Beth Katz is the creative force behind Mt. Washington Pottery, a beautiful collection of functional and decorative ceramics. Her work has an elegant simplicity, which marries the wabi-sabi aesthetic of traditional Japanese ceramics and the modernism of Scandinavian design. These elements are clearly visible in the fluidity of her forms and in the literal mark she leaves of her own hand: the remnant of her fingerprints at the bottom of each piece.
